"I consider myself fortunate to have legally immigrated to the United States with my family from Italy and to have had the opportunity to continue my education at Yale University. It was also an honor to have studied at Dartmouth Geisel School of Medicine and completed my residency at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Massachusetts. My decision to specialize in Obstetrics and Gynecology was driven by a passion for caring for women and their pregnancies, both high-risk and low-risk, as well as a desire to contribute to the research of the female reproductive system. Additionally, the shortage of professionals in the field and the lack of access to quality obstetric and gynecologic care in rural areas also motivated my choice of specialty. I believe that women worldwide have the right to access such care, and I am committed to helping meet this critical need."
